4-Wheeling in the Uintahs!

My family usually takes a day trip up to Whitney Lake every year with the 4-wheelers and with some friends of theirs, Bruce and Carol. If you're not in the truck by 5am, you're not going! Thats my dad for ya. Bryant came with us this year and it was soooo green up there! We've had A LOT of rain this year and the Uintahs are pretty green as it is so it was very "springy". Both of my parents were on "the Machine" (as my dad calls it), Bruce and Carol on their 4-wheeler, Sarah on one, and Bryant and I on another. There was quite a bit of mud up there from all the rain we've had this year so it was Bryant's goal to hit every puddle of mud that he possibly could...as fast as he could. Unfortunately we were behind everyone so we had to wait for them all to go through slowly so they wouldn't get dirty, the he would gun it and the mud would fly! It was a blast! We rode the 4-wheelers all the way up to Whitney Reservior where we fished for a few hours. I'm pretty sure the fish were sexist though because only the guys caught them. Bryant wasn't catching anything for a while and he just assumed he had a crappy spot. My dad (who was catching a lot of the fish) was conviced that there is no such thing as a spot. "It's all skill." So he moved to prove a point and let Bryant fish where he had been. Bryant cast out and within a few minutes, had a fish on his line and several more to follow! Pssshhhh. I caught one but it was so small that I had to throw it back. :( But I got a nice sun tan! Hayell Yeah! It was a great day! We even saw a moose! I can't wait to go again. :)
